Muhling Marine Second-Hand Outboard Warranty

Thank you for choosing Muhling Marine. The following warranty terms outline the coverage provided for our second-hand engines. Please review these conditions carefully to understand what is covered and what is excluded.

Warranty Coverage Period

This warranty applies to recreational use only and covers a period of three (3) consecutive months or 50 operating hours, whichever occurs first from the date of delivery.

Our warranty is strictly back to base. Call-out fees or on-site warranty repairs are not covered.

During the warranty period, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace any mechanical or fuel-related component that is found to be defective. Electrical components, cosmetic items, and general wear-and-tear parts are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Claim Procedure

If a fault occurs that may be covered under warranty, Muhling Marine or an authorised representative must be given the opportunity to inspect and carry out repairs before any work is undertaken.

Unauthorised repairs will void the warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

The following situations and damages are not covered under any circumstances:

• Damage caused by improper installation, maintenance, or storage.
• If installation is completed by anyone other than a Muhling Marine authorised representative, all warranties will be void unless a pre-delivery or pre-start inspection is conducted by Muhling Marine at the customer’s expense.
• Damage resulting from part removal, modifications, improper repairs, or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons.
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, abnormal operation, neglect, racing, or improper handling.
• Damage from accidents, external impact, submersion, water ingestion, fire, theft, vandalism, or acts of God.
• Operation without proper fuel, oil, or lubrication, or use of unsuitable fuel or lubricants.
• Damage due to rust or corrosion.
• Cooling system blockages caused by foreign materials.
• Damage resulting from sand or debris entering the water pump.

Limitation of Liability

All express or implied warranties are strictly limited to the three-month or 50-hour coverage period, whichever occurs first from the delivery date.

Muhling Marine will not be liable for any incidental, consequential, direct, indirect, or other damages of any kind arising from the use of the engine.

This warranty applies only to the person named on the original invoice and is non-transferable.
