Due to our agreements with Suzuki and Evinrude Australia, we currently do not ship orders to international destinations. Our compass points firmly towards serving our fantastic customers right here in Australia.
Anchors Aweigh! How We Ship Your Gear
For our mates in the Mandurah to Yanchep region, we’ll be using a trusted local courier to get your treasures to you swiftly. For all other Australian destinations, we’ll primarily rely on the reliable services of Australia Post or Startrack. If you have a specific shipping preference, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Confirming Your Voyage Details
Once you’ve placed your order, a friendly crew member will reach out to you via email or phone to confirm the pricing, delivery method, and the goods you’ve ordered before we cast off. This ensures everything is shipshape before your parcel begins its journey!
Fair Winds & Freight Costs: A Flexible Approach
We aim to provide a fixed price for standard freight whenever possible. However, just like a rogue wave or a big fish landed, some parcels can be a bit more challenging! If your order is odd-sized, particularly large, or unusually heavy, it might incur additional freight charges. Don’t worry, we’ll always contact you to discuss and confirm any extra costs before we proceed.
Express Shipping: When Speed is of the Essence
Need your parts in a hurry? We offer express shipping for an extra charge. The cost for express service will depend on the specifics of your parcel – its size, weight, and destination. We’ll provide you with a clear quote for express shipping before you commit.
Special Cargo: Things to Know About Certain Parts
Some of our sophisticated navigational instruments, like EMMs (Engine Management Modules) and Evinrude Fuel Injectors, might require a bit of programming to get them humming. This means they may not be “plug and play” right out of the box, and a qualified dealer or repairer might be needed to get them working perfectly. We want you to be fully prepared!
For items like fluids, oils, resins, and paints, their journey is a bit more bespoke. These will be freighted on a case-by-case basis, taking into account their destination and the quantity you’ve ordered.
Navigating Shipping Restrictions & Store Pick-Up
Occasionally, due to the policies of Australia Post or Startrack, some larger, heavier, or more awkwardly shaped parts may not be able to be freighted. In such instances, we’ll let you know, and your item may need to be picked up directly from our bricks-and-mortar store. We appreciate your understanding in these situations.
Our Vast Inventory & Supply Chain
Muhling Marine boasts an impressive fleet of over 399,000 part lines in our database, with our online shop, physical store, and workshop all drawing from this same vast inventory. We work with many trusted suppliers, but sometimes, even the most well-stocked harbours can run low. From time to time, Muhling Marine or our suppliers may experience out-of-stock situations, or parts might become NLA (No Longer Available). We also encounter situations where parts are simply too large, heavy, or awkward in size to freight. Mistake in pricing: With so many prices to keep up to date and a rare possibility of human error entering a price or description, we reserve the correct the mistake. We’ll always keep you informed if any of these situations arise with your order.
Fair Distribution Policy
At Muhling Marine, we believe in a fair distribution policy. If certain parts are scarce or hard to come by, we ensure that no single customer can order the majority or all of the available stock. This allows all our valued customers to have a fair chance at getting the parts they need.
Second-Hand Treasures
Our second-hand goods are often unique finds and are usually in limited supply. While we do our best to keep our online inventory updated, these items can occasionally be presold before the website quantity reflects the change. This means a second-hand item you see online may, unfortunately, no longer be available for purchase.
Inspecting Your Catch: Reporting Deficiencies
Upon receiving your parcel, please give it a thorough inspection! We kindly ask that you inform us of any deficiencies, incorrect part supply, or damage within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. This allows us to swiftly address any issues and get you back on course.

Our Right to Refund
In the rare instance that we are unable to supply your order (due to stock issues, freight restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances), we reserve the right to refund part or all of any moneys paid to us. We’ll always communicate with you promptly in such situations.
